Field Service position that requires factory training and working with peers to learn, understand and apply principles, concepts, practices and standards required to provide service on the Carl Zeiss products. In this capacity, the Field Service Specialist will develop solutions to a variety of complex problems all while ensuring maximum communication and outstanding customer service. Solutions are imaginative, practicable and consistent with organizational objectives. Work is performed under general direction. The field service specialist will participate in determining objectives and assignments. Plans, schedules and arranges own activities in coordination with Central Dispatch accomplishing objectives in an efficient and effective manner. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
