The app marketplace in your ZEISS A.R.M. Platform show a total overview of the apps which are generally available and which have not been installed yet. If you wish to activate a private app, or want more information, contact your local customer care center or your dedicated key account manager.

  • You can install apps to simplify your daily business. Upon installation, apps are available to use straightaway.

Survey App

Automatically collect important customer feedback with the TIMIFY survey app

  • The TIMIFY survey app ensures that every customer is contacted directly after an appointment and asked for feedback while the experience is still well remembered.
  • Everything is managed through the app, saving staff time-consuming follow-up tasks to contact customers and get answers.
  • Customise every element of the app to suit your needs, from the time customers receive a feedback request after an appointment to the survey format of their rating (star rating, multiple choice, free text, etc.).
  • The Survey App is not connected to Google My Business reviews. The feedback is only internal visible. If you want to get public feedback you can link your Google My Business content to the "Survey completion message".
  • Motivate your customers to share their feedback in offering something in return. You can offer discount codes via the "Booking Link App" in the ZEISS A.R.M. Platform for a specific service. Easily inform the customer in the "Survey E-Mail Body" about the promotion code and add the promotion code in the "Survey completion message".
  • IMPORTANT!: Consider your local data privacy regulations and select a policy in the survey settings to be data compliant. Only the customers who select the checkbox "I agree to receive a satisfaction survey" will receive this email.

ZEISS A.R.M. Platform app for your smartphone

  • The TIMIFY mobile app is available for Android and iOS devices, and you can easily download them from the Google Play Store and the App Store.

ZEISS A.R.M. Platform app for your tablet

  • Manage appointments away from your desk, access your team's schedule and customer bookings with the user-friendly tablet app.
  • The tablet app for appointment management is available for all Android and iOS devices. Download from the App Store or PlayStore. Then login with your ZEISS A.R.M. Platform account. Any changes you make syncs across all your devices and accounts.

How to create individual booking links for specific needs

You will find your link to your Booking Widget in the “Integration" tab. To create your service links for promotion actions or your own QR Code you need to integrate the "Booking Link App“. If you install the additional app, you will be able to generate specific booking links for your individual needs. We explain how you can activate the "Booking Link App", in your ZEISS A.R.M. Platform below.

1. Activate the App in the marketplace

The "Booking Link App" is part of the App Marketplace. To install the App for your ZEISS A.R.M. Platform, go to the tab "Apps“, "App Marketplace“ and search for the "Booking Link App“.

How to set up SMS notifications

Send out automated text messages in real-time to your customers. By installing the additional app, we enable you to send SMS notifications to your customers in addition (or alternatively) to your customer emails when appointments are booked, rescheduled or cancelled.

  • This App only allows sending and not receiving of messages.
  • For each appointment max four messages can be sent (confirmation, reminder, reschedule, cancellation).

How to send automated text messages in real-time to your customers

Step 1: The app for SMS notifications is part of the TIMIFY App Marketplace. To install the app for your account, click on "Apps" >> "App Marketplace". Generate a private key. Contact your local support contact and send the number combination. Afterwards we will activate this additional app for you. Once the app is activated for your account, it will appear in your app overview.

Step 2: Now you can start setting up the SMS app. First, connect the SMS app to your individual account with our tech partner Twilio.

  • On the TIMIFY side you need to fill out the form in the App with your main adress.
  • IMPORTANT!: Twilio as a tech-partner is responsible for sending out the SMS. For this purpose, Twilio charges an individual fee for each SMS sent, depending on the respective country. For this purpose, please add your banking details to the app. The costs will be charged 1:1 between you and Twilio, keep in mind that ZEISS is not responsible for the additional costs.   • WhatsApp:
    WhatsApp charges per user- or business-initiated conversation in 24-hour increments that start when the first message from a business is delivered. This rate is passed through and depends on the destination country. Please find more information here: https://www.twilio.com/whatsapp/pricing

Step 3:  Now you can define which specific settings you would like to make for SMS sending.

  • Usage types: Define at what time (appointment confirmation, reminder, cancellation), at what lead time (automatic reminder 1-72 hours in advance of an appointment) and to which specific customers (with or without email address) a text message should be sent to.
  • Country specific notifications: Define the specific country/countries to which a text message must be sent to IMPORTANT!: This may result in different costs per message! You can even write an individual text message per country.
  • Individual message: Address your customers individually and with your very specific texts, which can be individually selected with up to 160 characters both for appointment confirmation and reminders. IMPORTANT!: If e.g. more than 160 characters are used, more than one SMS will be sent and therefore higher costs may arise. If you are no longer interested in sending text messages, you can always uninstall the app.
